It seems cakes have been flying out of the oven around here lately! That’s a good thing, but as a result, I’m getting a little behind in editing my cake pictures and publishing them for y’all to see. This Labor Day weekend I had a minute to sit down and look back through some of the cakes I’ve made over the past few months. Here’s a cute little cake I did back in June for Allen’s first birthday.
Owls are such a popular trend right now. From cakes to clothes, owls seem to be popping up on everything baby related.
Here’s the smash cake for the birthday boy.
This cake was made with 8” and 10” tiers and serves approximately 45. The main cake was filled and iced with buttercream and covered with marshmallow fondant. All of the decorative details were made with fondant.
