I had the opportunity to do a re-run on a cake this week. For Ty’s birthday party last year, he wanted an Angry Birds theme. Here’s the cake that I made for him.
Actually it was really two cakes. One for the birds and one for the pigs.
This week I did another Angry Birds cake for 9-year-old Aaron.
The birds and pigs had to share some real estate on this cake, though.
All of the birds, pigs, and structures were sculpted from fondant.
This was a 10 inch round cake filled and iced with buttercream and decorated with fondant details. It serves approximately 30.
Ty loved the cake when he saw it, so I’m pretty sure Aaron will enjoy it too.
